52 Week Challenge: Week 14

I'm getting later and later in posting these 52 Week challenge photos, but I do take the pictures during the allotted week ;)

This week was a bit of a struggle though, and I had to make do with a photo I took Sunday night. As late as it could be! It's a left over slice from my hubby's ice cream birthday cake. Thus the water droplets on the sprinkles...

Since I wasn't too happy with the original shot, I played around with it in Photoshop and turned everything sepia except for the sprinkles. In the end, I don't think you could really tell that I did all that work. Oh well! You can't hit the ball out of the park every week.

Celery Green Treasury

I guess I was in a rather snarky mood when I wrote the last post, but I'm spreading a more positive energy today! I managed to grab an Etsy treasury, so I thought I'd share it with you. Hope you enjoy my celery-colored finds, and do give some love to the shops featured :)

New Swarovski Colors Available for Custom Jewelry!

When I was little, I used to LOVE staring at my colored pencils. I would arrange and rearrange them in the box, and would just drink in each and every color. It had this amazing calming quality, and I remember feeling an overwhelming sense of happiness when they were in perfect order.

Now that I'm a jewelry maker, I don't deal with colored pencils much. But I still need my colored-pencil-substitute to keep me sane, so I get my color fix with Swarovski crystals. They come in so many colors and finishes, not to mention shapes, that I can't possibly afford to order them all. But every missing color feels like a gaping hole, and last month, I finally caved and ordered a couple more new colors.

So, now, I've got 50!! colors of crystals for you to choose from when you order one of my custom jewelry! And yes, if you are a color addict like me, you certainly can order a bracelet with every color of the rainbow!
